In my talks with others, there's big confusion over the word "defund." Google Trends shows "defund police" phrases skyrocketing in search, and dictionary.com is the prime go to for the word's definition.

While I understand what it means (now, even better, thanks to you), many take the term literally. So when they hear "defund," they hear "no more money."
