Atop of that, most of them boycotting are only doing so financially. They’re still running things organically. Hence, Facebook is still making money from those companies’ actions.
Whether or not the highest ups were aware of data passing, that’s no excuse. At least one department head in the company knows, which is enough to hold the brand completely liable socially.
