Thank you so much for sharing this story. As a former journalist I can relate on some level. This brought back memories, especially of a college article I wrote that cause a student to lose his financial assistance. Like you, I needed to tell the story, and didn’t even think about the repurcussions he would face. If only we knew then… Of course, it’s how we learn. :)
