This is where confusion lies. Parler was founded as a free-speech platform - not a political one. It became attractive to conservatives due to biased censorship on Facebook and Twitter. Every social media platform has "morally repugnant" users. Most of the thrid-party articles you read about Parler are not based on any in-depth experience. Let's not forget that real-live violent events were planned using both of the biggest platforms.
